Bonjour Paris

What better way to start my 2015 adventures than a girls weekend trip to Paris! I managed to find a really cheap 3 day deal for myself and one of my old uni flatmats so couldn't really turn it down.

Although we were only there for 3 days we managed to squeeze in so much sight seeing. From the Louvre to a walk up a Champs Élysées to see Arc de Triomphe, then a little trip over river to see Notre Dame and Eiffel Tower. Personally my favourite was seeing the light show at the Eiffel Tower at night it was absolutely beautiful! Another highlight, nwhich I'd definitely recommended for anyone, was the Moulin Rouge show. Unbelievable! So over the top and fabulous, I loved it! But then to finish it off what would any trip away to Paris be without a visit to the Padlock Bridge, so romantic and cute.

Now for the most important part SHOPPING! The first thing that comes to my head when I think of Paris will always be fashion. Home to the many amazingly talent designers and brands such as Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior, Karl Lagerfeld, Christina Louboutin, John Galliano, just a few of my idols. Paris is particularly famous for it's Louis flagship store and although I did a window shop there, one day hopefully I'll have one of my dreams come true and have a shopping spree in there.

Other than shopping the next bat first about Paris for me is my love Laduree. The best macaroons in the whole world!!! I don't care what anyone says even the Laduree macaroons in Covent garden and Haarrods in London still don't taste as good as the ones in Paris. Afternoon tea here is a must for anyone. So chic and sophisticated, I just love their attention for detail in everything.

Overall Paris is a must for all girly girls and fashionistas! In my next post I'll tell you more about the vintage side of shopping in Paris and the "I could not say no" bargains I managed to find
