Bon Voyage!

Unfortunately this will be my last post for a while as this evening I'm off travelling! I was contemplating blogging whilst away but I didnt want to risk losing my iPad (knowing my past history that would have been more than likely to happen) I'm beyond excited for this adventure as it had always been something I have wanted to do and exploring new parts of the world is a huge passion of mine. My route is Thailand, surrounding islands, Laos, Cambodia, New Zealand and finally Australia. I can't wait to come back and tell you all about it, sharing all my pictures and stories!

See you soon
XOXO

Alexander McQueen Savage Beauty

The other weekend I was lucky enough to go visit the Alexander McQueen Savage Beauty exhibition at the Victoria and Albert museum in London. McQueen was always a designer I admired because of his pure passion and love for fashion. I have always been in awe of his creativeness that enabled him to never follow the norm and always push the boundaries.

Overall the exhibition was extraordinary, I loved every single aspect over it! But my favourite part was definitely 'Plato's Atlantis' from the Spring Summer 2010 collection, having majored in printed textiles for fashion at university I was blown away by the prints used in that collection. Th choice of fabrics and colour pallette was incredible, but the prints themselves were just unbelievable.
Here are also few more snaps from other sections of the exhibition (as you probably know by now I'm terrible at writing, so pictures definitely speak 1000 words in my case!) I would highly recommend this exhition to not just for fashion enthusiasts but to everyone, it really is a beautiful collection showing the skills and beauty of a very talented man.

Shoe Lust Sundays

Can't believe I missed yesterday's post! Busiest weekend ever and it completely slipped my mind, sorry! But this week's one is worth it I promise. I've been lusting over these Sophia Webster beauties for weeks, I just love the colours and patterns, they look so vibrant and fun. Perfect for any summer outfit!

DIY Ripped Jeans

I never understand why people buy a pair of jeans with rips in them when you can get an old pair of jeans and rip them yourself. At the moment ripped jeans and trousers are very popular, but for a standard high street pair you are looking to £40-£50 each, now that is £150 for a plain, white and black pair. But with an old pair of jeans, a pair of scissors and a cheese grater you are set to go to make your own. It is simple; make small cuts in the knee with scissors and rip, then use the grater roughen up the areas surrounding the rips.

Lemon Yellow Love

I can't emphasise enough how much I love lemon yellow! It is such a warm summery colour, yet still quite subtle. Even just a pop of it in an outfit can make such a huge impact. Mulberry's collection of handbags in lemon yellow have already caught my eye.

Unfortunately my bank balance doesn't understand this type of Mulberry love but luckily for me Primark came to my rescue with this cute little clutch bag for just £4.

Shoe Lust Sundays

Peep toe boots are very on trend for spring/summer this year, so this pair of Salvatore Ferragamo tick the right boxes!

PatBo - São Paulo S/S 2015

When I get the chance I like to look at the other fashion weeks around the world other than the Top 4, but very rarely I find a collection that I absolutely adore. However this collection has everything I love about a summer show; crispy clean white, bright colours, smart tailoring, embellishment and flowers. The detailing and embellishing is just incredible!

Shoe Lust Sundays

A little Chanel never hurt anyone and these boots are no exception, regardless of what the bank balance says!

Bejazzled Savings

Summer is coming and my sister and I are on a holiday saving mission! My sister is a beautician so she receives tips everyday but spends them just as quick. We popped into town early to get her one of those money saving jars that you can't open unless you smash it. All the ones we came across were between £8-£10 typically being on a saving mission that was a no go! Then we saw a "yummy mummy" pot in the sale for £1.50 we snapped that up with a DIY SOS plan in mind. Quick trip to poundland for some stick on gems and it was all go. The final product...for a mere £2.50
