Dream Catcher

Sorry I've been so quiet recently I've been catching dreams! Well not quite literally more like me chasing after my dreams in terms of a career. As you all know I graduated University with a degree in Fashion Textiles specialising in printed fabrics for Fashion. Though me being typical old me chose the route of 'I want to see the world before I get settled into my career', and believe me I have loved every single second of it. Although I haven't seen all of the world yet the other week there is still plenty of more time for that. However last week as I stared gormlessly at my work computer screen I had an epiphany. I'm 24 and currently spending the majority of my week inside an office doing a job that doesn't excite me or help me grow as a person and enable learn new things. You only get one life so why was I wasting the majority of it doing something I don't particularly enjoy. And so it began...the job hunt! The past two weeks it has pretty much taken over my life. Application after application, cv after cv and the countless cover letter edits. As of it yet nothing has come of it but fingers crossed! So yes everyone that is why I haven't been able to keep in contact though keep your eyes open for my tips next week about applying for you dream job.

Elite Saab Couture Fall 2016

Can always count on Elie Saab for the most intricate and extravagant embellishment.

J. Mendel Couture Fall 2016

Bead work and embellishment overload. I'm in love!

Iris Van Herpen Couture Fall 2016

I'm absolutely fascinated by the unique textures used in this collection! Again another collection where fabric manipulation has been used beautifully.

Alberta Ferretti Limited Edition Couture Fall 2016

Fringing and tassels galore!

Francesco Scognamiglio Couture Fall 2016

I really admire the craftsmanship of the fabric manipulation to create volume and structure. Also very much loving the sheer appliqué fabric!
