Thomas Burberry Cafe

The other week I spent a lovely afternoon at the Thomas Cafe, part of the Burberry flagship store on Regent Street. I went for a girly afternoon out with one of my work colleagues and we had such a nice time. Everything was perfect and so well thought out. From the excellent staff to the little things such as the attention to detail on the napkins, plates and cutlery! What I thought was really cute was the little timer that was bought out with my pot of tea to let me know when it was brewed properly. I'd definitely recommend a trip here if you're looking for a peaceful yet glamorous bite to eat. 

Little tip the afternoon tea is amazing and the lemon meringue tart is out of this world!

Ivy Park

When I heard Beyonce was doing a gym range, 'Ivy Park' at Topshop my first thought was if I buy these clothes will I look like Queen Bey...pathetic I know but a girl can dream. However the collection is amazing and it did give me so much gym motivation.. considering Dubai is in 7 weeks and I currently look like Babe the pig, this is exactly what I needed. The collection is described as mixing high performance technical styles with fashion-led casual wear, which I think is completely spot on as I would wear some of the items even if I wasn't at the gym. The range includes bras, leggings, shorts, hoodies, jackets, tank tops, tees and the list goes on. Here are just a few of my favourite items...obviously I treated myself to a little something in hope I would look like Queen Bey

My Skin Savour...La Roche-Posay

Ever since I was a teenager all I wished for was perfect skin...and of course the body of a Victoria Secrets model (but we'll save that one for another time) It is fair to say I was one of those poor kids who was spot prone during those awkward teenage years. I tried everything! Any new product that was out on the market I was all over it like a tramp on chips, literally! Every day I was religiously scrubbing, moisturising and cleansing. So I decided to give it a go and boy am I glad I did. My skins feels so much cleaner and softer and looks so much clearer. Obviously I still have a few blemishes here and there like every other girl but it definitely has worked a little magic on my skin. Let me take you through the 3 step regime of Cleanse, Tone & Hydrate...

Step 1 - Cleanse

Effaclar Purifying Gel

This cleansing gel helps removes those horrible impurities that may eventually lead to those dreaded spots and blemishes. It also helps reduce excess sebum (too much of this can cause spots) leaving the skin feeling refreshed and clean. Only a small amount is needed as when it is rubbed into the skin with water it foams.

Step 2 - Tone

Effaclar Clarifying Toner

This little miracle worker refines the skin's texture. It also helps reduce the appearance of pores (every girl's dream!) This is my new 'swear by' product

Step 3 - Correct & Hydrate

Effaclar Duo Anti Blemish Cream

It literally does what it says on the bottle, correct and hydrate! It corrects by reducing the appearance of blemishes and red marks and then provides 24 hour hydration. P.S. this also makes an excellent base for makeup

Kendall Jenner Slays AGAIN

The things I would do to have Kendall Jenner's legs.... however at this moment in time the things I would do be Kendall Jenner. She absolutely slayed it in terms of style on Saturday night at the MTV movie awards. Her never ending legs were shown off in a pair of DSquared2 lace up boots whilst wearing an asymmetrical Kristian Aadevi black gown.

Can I have your stylist please?! And perhaps the bank account to go with it......

Choccywoccydoodah, Brighton

If you're like me and have non stop sugar cravings then this is the place for you. Choccywoccydoodah is an exclusive art and design chocolatier shop located in Brighton & Soho, London. They do everything chocolate orientated from ginormous easter eggs, honeycombe goodie bags and chocolate sculptures to extravagant 3 tiered cakes with intricate, delicate icing detailing. It really is chocolate heaven.

I highly recommend the dipping platter! Believe me this tastes far far better than it looks. Pick between a dipping pot of white, milk or dark chocolate and then the fun starts...a plate filled with lots of dipping goodies including strawberries, marshmallows, honeycombe bites, wafer sticks, chocolate sticks. All of which can be washed down with an incredible white chocolate milkshake. To be honest the whole milkshake menu looked incredibly yummy.

Choccywoccydoodah is a definite go to place for all you chocolate addicts. If the dipping platter didn't win you over I did eye up a slice of a delicious looking 6 layer chocolate cake, maybe next time....

Crazy Bear Afternoon Tea

I'm a massive lover of afternoon tea, what is not to love about mini sandwiches and yummy cakes and pastries all washed down with a cuppa. I recently took my mum to Crazy Bear in Beaconsfield as a belated Mother's Day treat. First off the place is incredible! The decor is absolutely beautiful. As for the afternoon tea itself so many yummy cakes and cute little sandwiches. The scones were literally little balls of warm fluffy heaven! All washed down with a glass of champagne, what more could a girl want. Also check out their dinner menu and hotel rooms, next thing to tick off my list is a weekend stay there.
