Alexander McQueen Savage Beauty

The other weekend I was lucky enough to go visit the Alexander McQueen Savage Beauty exhibition at the Victoria and Albert museum in London. McQueen was always a designer I admired because of his pure passion and love for fashion. I have always been in awe of his creativeness that enabled him to never follow the norm and always push the boundaries.

Overall the exhibition was extraordinary, I loved every single aspect over it! But my favourite part was definitely 'Plato's Atlantis' from the Spring Summer 2010 collection, having majored in printed textiles for fashion at university I was blown away by the prints used in that collection. Th choice of fabrics and colour pallette was incredible, but the prints themselves were just unbelievable.
Here are also few more snaps from other sections of the exhibition (as you probably know by now I'm terrible at writing, so pictures definitely speak 1000 words in my case!) I would highly recommend this exhition to not just for fashion enthusiasts but to everyone, it really is a beautiful collection showing the skills and beauty of a very talented man.
